CLEAN HANDS

Alright... sorry Galvs for hijacking your Blog...

Ok people, here is the question...

What does it mean to you when the bible refers to CLEAN HANDS? What is the significance of the hand that it has to be clean before God? Also, what does it mean to lift up HOLY HANDS (1 Tim 2:8) to God?

Why not clean... eyes or mind or feet or nose or fingers or hair or Belly Buttons?

Please post your answers either as a comment or on the TAG BOARD.

Ohhh... The Anticipation

You know that feeling... Anticipation...

Synonyms: apprehension, awaiting, contemplation, expectancy, foresight, foretaste, high hopes, hope, impatience, joy, outlook, preconception, premonition, preoccupation, prescience, presentiment, promise, prospect, trust

Antonyms: despair

Amazing how many words describe anticipation yet in one word all else is laid waste.

What does it mean to you to be anticipating something?
Depending on what you are expecting right...

If you are waiting for exam results... Fear, Worry, Hope, Joy, Excitement...
If at the brink of a ROlLer COaSter riDe... Excitement, dread,
If at the emergency ward of a hospital... Dread, fear, worry, hope... despair?

What about before you go to Church or for Youth Service?

"Oh I'm "suan" Tim about MAn-U getting kicked out of Champs League."

Or

"Wow, the cutest guy in class is sitting next to me next year!! Can't wait to tell Grace about it..."

Personnally, I cannot imagine a greater joy than knowing that I will be coming before God in a time of worship with His people. The wonder of knowing that as we gather, He is in our midst and great and wonderous works are at hand. To stand in awe of the Lord as I raise my hands. The hunger to learn and hear His word spoken to the deepest recesses of my heart and soul. The foreknowledge (faith) that I will meet God today.

I am in a season of anticipation. Through the month, God had been speaking to the through His word, books and people He had sent along the way. What am I waiting for? I have no clue. But this I know, that if its from God, I don't want to be found asleep, un-ready, lost. Because what will be done or revealed is going to be ABOVE AND BEYOND MY WILDEST DREAMS.

and His understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary

WORSHIP 081005
Return to the King.

It had been a long time since I was given an opportunity to lead God's people in worship. I prayed for such an opportunity 2 days before Matthew (Youth Min. Worker) called me to inform me that I was once again rostered on the WEB worship schedule. To me, its God's grace and answer to a burden and desire He had set within my heart.

Praise Be to GOD in the Highest.

If you are reading this, and you are in the WEB ministry, I would encourage you to spend some time this week on the following passage to prepare your hearts for worship this Saturday.

LUKE 19:28-40

I was led to this passage 2 weeks ago as I was asking God to teach and to lead me as I prepare for the worship session on 8th. There was a certain part of the passage that brought me there in the first place but as I read the context, I began to see the bigger picture of God's guidance.

I would not go into details. In general, this session of worship would be focused on God our King and His holiness. Highlighting our posture before our King and our unholiness.

Do join me in keeping the worship team in prayer.
Most importantly, pray for yourselves and remain faithful.

Prepare your hearts to meet our Lord and King.

Hi All!!

Here is the new addition to my family of fishes...
Hammie the Tetraodon Baileyi.
Saw it at a fish shop in KOVAN about a 3 weeks ago while shopping around for Puffers with 3sa. It was love at first sight (with the fish not 3sa...). They had 2 in the shop then. Went home, thought about it, and decided to place a reservation for one of them 1 week later. Problem was I was leaving for Perth for the next week and so I arranged to collect it only when I have returned... Ohhh the anticipation...

After so much talk, I guess I should just show the pictures.
